Crichton Writers

Who We Are

Crichton Writers is a collective of writers based in south west Scotland. Originally formed from a group of writers who studied creative writing at the Crichton Campus under the tutelage of Tom Pow, the group has undergone many changes over the years and currently meets every month at the Dumfries Baptist Church. We  run regular workshops alongside our monthly meetings.

We also continue to publish anthologies of our members' poems, prose, plays and film writing and stage readings and performances across the region.
